In my arrangement work, I strive to create something new rather than just provide an instrumental accompaniment to an existing song. An orchestral ensemble doesn’t just serve to make the performance of a pop song a grander affair. It can also enhance aspects of rhythm, harmony and lyrics and offer a poignancy and energy that reaches people and brings them together for a unique, shared listening experience.
